We conduct soil & concrete practical sessions for our Civil engineering students to fulfill the course requirements as well as to gain the necessary practical competency knowledge. The practical sessions will include the following tests.

Soil Test

1. Visual classification of soils to BS1377 - Identify and classify fine grained soils
2. Atterberg limits- liquid limit test and plastic limit test
3. Particle Size distribution
4. Moisture Unit Weight relationship
5. Field Density

Concrete test

1. Compressive Strength of Concrete Cubes
2. Slump Test
3. Rebound Hammer Test

Stress/Strain Test

1. Tensile Strength Test
